EAd renewal- urgent please!!!

Hi,

My current EAD expires on 03/24/2004. I applied for renewal and the RD is 12/27/2003. What is the procedure to obtain interim EAD? My 90 days will expire on 03/26/2004. If I dont receive my approval by this date, do I have to stop working? Can I get interim EAD before the expiry of current EAD? Can anyone please explain?

I live in NJ.

I think you must take unpaid leave for the 2 days (difference).
Go to the Newark INS office and get an interim EAD, i think you could get that in a day. I am not sure if you need an appointment. try calling them

You need to carry the EAD receipt , 485 receipt and some other documents.... search for IEAD keyword and you will find a thread that has a list of required documents.
