EAD renewal transferred from NSC to CSC

I joined a company in WA, using AC21. The new company's attorney has applied for my EAD renewal (Lin-03-157-5XXXX) at NSC while my I-485 (WAC-02-120-5XXXX) is pending with CSC. According to attorney I should apply in NSC since my home and work address has changed. But after a long wait today when I check my EAD status online it says. "On June 23 the case has been transferred to CSC ........"

My current EAD is expiring on July 9th. What kind of chances do I have in getting iEAD at local office? My 90 day count ends on July 15th since EAD renewal was applied on April 14th of 2003.

Did anyone face similar problems?? What other alternatives do I have in this situation? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do not take salary after July 9th untill u have your new EAD.This will screw up ur GC. Either go on a unpaid vacation or speak to ur HR and get paid later for the work U do 9th onwards.

Apply for iEAD at local office after 90 days.

Back-pay can also affect ur GC.

Most prolly, ur renewed EAD will be valid from the day the previous one expires.

Please don't have any paystubs after July 9 until u've confirmed that there's no gap b'ween ur EADs.

Of course, u can accept salary from the time AVM or the case status shows approved - just be careful about the period from July 9 till the date ur case's approved.

90 day count

Thank you GCSeekerInd & hari_nupur

I called up BCIS’s 1-800-375-5283 and confirmed that my 90day count doesn’t get reset due to transfer. I called twice to confirm with 2 different people they both said I could on July 14th to local BCIS office and get my iEAD.

Coming to going out of pay-roll our legal department suggested the following to our HR department:
“In accordance with company policy, he (that is me) can use any accrued [KEY WORD] sick leave and/or vacation time he has already earned. He can use those days now, get paid, and we would be in compliance with IRCA, however, he cannot borrow against any sick time or vacation time he has not already earned and/or accrued.”

My company is a big multi-national company, so they just follow whatever our legal department says. If I take paid vacation as suggested above will it affect my GC? Can anybody point me to the rules which say I shouldn’t go on paid vacation during EAD gaps?
Thank you for help guys.
