Does anyone know how much time it is taking for EAD renewal in TSC.

100-120 days from RD

it took this long for my OPT, and EAD under 485. To be on the safe side, you need to apply 4 months before your old EAD expires.

The first EAD approval took 2 months for me, but am not sure if TSC has different processing times f

I have read postings about people getting an interim EAD from local INS district offices. But Iam not sure if we can do that before 90 days since EAD RD. Having said that, Iam also not sure if we can get it from local office for sure after 90 days. If people can post their experiences that would be helpful.

Can my wife still using OPT\'s EAD after file I-485 with me? or needs a I485 pending\'s EAD?

same boat

My husband used his OPT (I\'m the primary applicant) without applying for a new EAD after he filed 485. Then he got a new EAD under 485 before his OPT expired. I wrote to usvisanews.com asking the same question you are asking now, and was told that he could use OPT first and then apply for a new EAD. So that is what we did. Can not tell you for sure because his case has not been approved yet. Mine was approved in early May. Just for your information.
