EAD Renewal Question.......

Guys, from your experience, can you tell how long it usually takes after the checks are cashed? Do the RD numbers get assigned before the check cashing or after? I haven't bothered to check with the attorney regarding the Notices? I haven't received any directly from INS. Is this normal or is there a need for me to follow up?

Wish I could answer u r first question as to when RD # is assigned , but in my case I did not check the check clearing etc. and got Receipts notice from INS.

Abt follow up,I had send EAD renewal on my own , no attorney was involved. I had my address as applicant address (obviously ! huh ?:) and I got receipt notice , and cards on my address so no where my attorney was involved.
 
In my case the RD number got assigned before my check cleared.

Mailed Oct-21 (VSC signed for it on this day)
RD Oct-25
Check cleared Oct-31
Notice receipt in my mail box Nov-1
Approved Nov-21 (per online status)
Card received in my mail today, Nov-27
