EAD renewal Question--URGENT

Hi friends,

I am trying to do my EAD renewal on my own....i am confused about the following..I have entered US on Jan 1st, 2003 using my AP & my 485 is pending with CSC since last 1 year. pls help on following questions:

Q. 14 . Manner of last entry
Ans: Should I say parolee or Adjustee or something else

Q15. Current immigration status
Ans: ?

Q16. Eligibilty categories...
?

Pls help.......

Rahul, I would confirm my answers, but here is my best shot.

Manner of last entry.
Advance parole.
Current Immigration status.
(Mention either 485 pending or h1b visa holder, I mentioned both).
Eligibility categories.
You can find that in the 11 pages of instructions.

could you tell me how did you mail these papers . I am thinking of USPS Priority mail as I believe they have a PO no. & do not accept Fedex etc.

Secondly did you make a cover letter along with these papers..

yes rahul, you have to send papers through regular USPS priority mail. your papers will reach there in two-three days.

Its better if you add cover letter with papers

There's something I learned today (01/10/03) when I went to the local INS to get my iEAD

the answer to Q14 . Manner of last entry
Ans: H1B (if you are applying for 485 based on Employment)
The IIO told me this....

Q. 15 Current immigration status
Ans: AOS

Q16. Eligibilty categories...
I think its C09 or something like that.. pls verify it.


And BTW, dont send by priority mail.... send it to the INS direct address by fedex and keep the tracking#.

If you need the CSC direct address I can give it to you.
My lawyer gave it to me. and I sent all my papers to this address.

I already got my AP and waiting for renewed EAD... but I got my iEAD today.

Info required about iead at San Jose

Could u tell your experience about getting iEAD
at San Jose ? Was it walk in or did you have an
appointment ? What time did you go in ? How long was the wait for issuing EAD ? Give all the details you can.

My 90 days for the EAD renewal would be over on 12th. I want to go to INS office on 13th if they are taking walk ins.

Could anyone please let me know a cover letter format for EAD and AP? and please let me know the FedEx direct address also.

Do we need to write A# on all copies (like last EAD, 485 receipt notice)? If yes, Should I write on front or back of these copies?
