EAD Renewal Question? - Please Help

I am filling my I-765 for EAD Renewal
These are my questions
1) Am i filling the right form for EAD Renewal?
2) Can i file this without the help of Lawyer?
3) Most Important Question?
a) what will be my Eligibility Category. If i am a
waiting for my Green Card(Employment Based)
and applying for EAD renewal?
b) what will the eligibility category of my wife be if
she is my dependent?
People who have already applied for EAD renewal should able to
tell me

If you could clarify what you mean in 3a and 3b maybe someone can advise you
 
(3A) Adjustment of permanent residency pending (I485 pending)
(3B) same as 3(a).

16. Go to Part2 of the Instructions, Eligibility Categories. In the Spacebelow, Place the letter and number of the category you selected from the instructions( For example, (a)(8), (c)(17)(iii), etc.).

When i went and checked the Part2
there is a category called
EAD Applicants Who have filed for
-------------------------------------------
Adjustment of Status
----------------------------

Adjustment Applicant--(c)(9). File your EAD Application
with a copy of the receipt notice or other evidence that your
Form I-485, Application for Permanent Residence, is pending.
You may file Form I-765 together with your Form I-485.

what should i fill in the three braces.
( is it (c)(9) (????))
what will be my supporting documents that i should file for
EAD Renewal?
I am really nervous aboutr filing anything myself considering
the time it should take if i have to go through the process of correcting and resending......

It should be C09 for both of you.

We just recd our cards this saturday.
I am another unfortunate MD filer looking at the horizon..
What's ur RD and ND ??
 
I applied on Aug 15th. Checks got cleared in a week.

Got the receipt notice for EAD with EAC# early last week. Finally got the cards on saturday..VSC works like a flash for EAD's..
 
Also,

I attached
1. 765 form
2. Copy of Both sides of old EAD card
3. 485 receipt notice.
4. 2 photos.
5. Check for $120 each.

That's it. I see somebody asking to attach the last approval letter of EAD. I did not attch one 'cos i lost them.
 
Roran my EAD is expiring in Jan 2002

My RD is Dec 11 th?

wait...

things might get faster with VSC after Sept gets cleared...We expect the same every month, but looks like VSC(or we ??) come(s) up with some reason to account for the delay. I would wait till oct (100 days b4 ur EAD expires) to apply for renewal.
