EAD renewal (online) question

Hi All,

Filed online for my EAD Renewal on Feb 17 (guess it goes to the NBC?) my current EAD expires on Apr. 11 (Monday!!!)

Has anyone filed online around the same timeframe as me and received their EAD yet?

Also I never received my confirmation notice vial regular mail.

Btw, does anyone know if the online status is updated regularly, if so any idea on the frequency? Is it possible to get your EAD in the mail and not see any update online?

Would appreciate your opinions greatly.

Applied on Feb 23rd (paper application),approved on march 31st

I applied @NSC,paper application on Feb 23rd,and got approved on march 31st.(Just 39 days).
Did u take infopass appointment to get the index finger printing done(its needed for online EAD application).?

I hope that you are not working pursuant to your EAD now.

Because as you know, you *cannot* continue to work on EAD after it expires -- having a new EAD pending makes no difference.

Just FYI in case you were not aware of this.
 
abhi485 - yes I took the appointment and went in to the Application Support Center very next day and got my finger printing done. In fact after I filed my renewal, my confirmation notice instructed me to call the 1-800 # to schedule an appt.

max2k1 - My current EAD expires this coming monday (Apr. 11) I have already spoken with my manager and HR to make sure I am on unpaid Leave of Absence starting Tuesday (Apr. 12) so we are not in violation.

Anyone else that has filed around the same that has been approved or waiting? Please share.

Is it possible that the online status isn't updated and I receive my EAD. Or is the online status the first to be updated?

Appreciate all your thoughts / opinions (and prayers if we are going that far :) )

Go to you local INS office and apply for Interim EAD, you will get it same day.

I thought I could only do that if I didn't receive my EAD within 90 days from when my application was received?
