EAD-Renewal-How long it takes at VSC

I applied for EAD renewal and received
RD: 09/12/03
ND: 09/18/03

1. How long is it taking for the renewal of EAD at VSC these days ?

2. My present EAD expires before 90 days. Can I go on leave without pay until I get my EAD renewal ? or do I need to resign and join again ?

3. Can I continue working with the receipt notice of my EAD renewal fron the VSC ?

4. When the EAD is renewed ...do the give new EAD from the nxt day when my old EAD expires or from the day the application is renewed?

you need your card and fill out your I9 again to continue working. Please do check with your lawyer.

Your new EAD will be from the date it was approved - they do not back date the EAD.
