EAD Renewal - H1B Expired

Hi,

Due to my Employer's goof-up my H1B extension could not be filed. Though I still had time on my H1B. Luckily I still have my EAD to fall back on. But it is expiring on Aug 22nd. Since I am not on an 'H' status, there is a clause in EAD renewal Form which asks for the current status. Can someone pl. suggest what I shoudl fill-in there.

Once you have used your EAD your H1 is invalid. You stilll have time for the renewal.


Vsc is taking about max. 2 months for approval (According to my experience).
