EAD Renewal from Kansas City Office-- How long would it take?

Friends,

Could you please share your EAD renewal experience with Kansas city office? My EAD expires in 4 m onthes, and my GC case has a chance to get approved in 1 or 2 monthes. My lawyer is urging me to prepare document for the renewal. Should I spend that money?

you can renew on your own !

a lot of people renewed their EADs on their own, including me.
just prepare what I-765 requests (except the signature card)...

plus, you can renew your card two months before its expiration date (at least this is ok for VSC). Spend some time to read earlier threads, they can be very enlightening...
