EAD renewal from India

Hi I am in india and will be coming to using at the end of this month. My EAD is expiring on Mar17th of 2005. Is there a way to file my EAD from here? Now a days it is taking more than 90 days to get EAD so what is my best option.

You need to be in US for applying EAD. There is no exception.
 
How about e-filing? Ask one of the gurus for details.

Or have you attorney snail mail you papers in India and send them back to him for paper filing.

You must act fast, cannot take chance with EAD.

srini_king, if it is renewal I don't think it will take more than two weeks.
I applied for my wife and go approved in 7 days.

But you have to be in US as you have to give last I-94 alongwith application and if you are in India I don't think you will be able to provide that.

If you have photocopy of last I-94 and provide that from abroad, that can be considered "false information" (in case you get caught). AP and EAD applications always require current I-94. However, for AP there are some expceptions.
