EAD renewal for Spouse - Help Please

Hi,
me and my wife filed for 1485/EAD during the July 2007 fiasco, we got our EAD cards and I am planning to use AC21 to change employer now, my question is when it comes to renewal do i need to renew EAD for my wife too even though she doesn't intend to work for now , what will happen if i file for renewal of my EAD but not for my wife any issues ?

EADs are tied to the respective I-485s ... Since your wife is not working, it is not mandatory to file EAD for her. A pending I-485 petition will preserve her status. If she decides to work later you can file an EAD for her.

For my spouse; I have applied for the renewal of:

AP: Which got expired in Jan' 08
EAD: Which will be expiring in two weeks from now.

As per our employer's attorney, the forms were submitted on 03/31
but We have not received any receipt notice yet.

Any potential issues on the renewal of AP becuase we had applied after the expiry date.

No issues. Your wife just should not travel till she gets AP unless she has valid H4 or H1 stamped in her passport.
