EAD renewal experience at cincinati, OHIO.

I asked my lawyer what is the best approach for EAD renewal who suggested that I would be better off applying in cincinnati instead of Nebraska as I had my original EAD from cincy.

Well, as I was anxious, I asked my lawyer to apply 90 early at cincy itself. Had to shell out $300 as attorney fees and $120 as application fee.
I had read from this website only that someone who applied this early from expiration date of EAd was sent the application back. So was keeping my fingers crossed. But within 10 days of applying attorney got a copy of hand written appointment letter from INS. EAD appontment was fixed after 20 days from original application date.

My renewal dates are full one year from the day of earlier EAD. The officer did take my current EAd.

He was however not too happy with my applying 90 days early at cincy office. He told me that I should have applied not early than 30 days of expiry of current EAd. But who would take that risk. I guess this explains why another person got their application back. I think applying via an attorney 90 days early did do the trick otherwise if applied individually my application would also have been sent back.

Any way reached around 9 am
was out by 10.30 am with renewed EAd.

Hope this information would help.
