EAD renewal at Newark, NJ

My EAD was going to expire on Jan 8' 2003.
I applied for renewal at Newark, NJ office.
Got receipt on Oct 24' 2002. (Got receipt in 4-5 days).

Today (Jan 10' 2003) I received an interview call for EAD renewal.
Supposed to go for interview on Jan 28 between 8.30 - 9.30 am

Just thought this info will help those who have applied at Newark center and eagerly waiting for feedback.
 
Interview details

Newark office doesn't accept photos with application. They call personally and take pictures. I hope its a formality call. Here is what they have asked me to carry:

1. Proof of filing (INS receipts, canceled checks or money order tracer)
2. Prrof of NJ residency
3. All passports (old and new)
4. Expired EAD

Another funny thing is that receipt issued by Newark office has no EAC number, so you cannot track it (by phone or online) :(
I don't know this when I filed. The receipt is like a normal letterhead with some reference number. Was worried till today about when I will hear something as couldn't track anything.:

Hi 180DaysIsGood,
What is the contact phone # for NEWARK, INS. I applied for EAD on Oct. 22, 2002 at Vermont and waiting.... I like to try for an interim EAD from Newark by next week.
