My EAD is valid till 04/11/2006. I have applied for EAD renewal from NSC and I got an RFE which states that the fingerprints is not yet transmitted. I got my biometrics done at ASC the day the RFE was sent. I have until April 19th to reply to the RFE.
My question is:
If the current EAD expires and the new EAD application is not yet approved . Does it create any complications for EAD renewal approval?
Last time I got my EAD renewed I lost almost 2 months because NSC now renews the EADs from the date they approve to next 1 year. So I am thinking of replying to this RFE as late as I can.
I am presently working on H1 and have never used the EAD , I am just carring it as a backup in case if something goes wrong with my current job.
