EAD Receipt Notice received within 5 days

I got a big surprise when I received my EAD renewal receipts with in 5 days. I mailed on 9th through express mail and they received on 10th they mailed back my receipts on 11th and I got them on 12th. What a wonder.

Applied for EAD renewal on 16th of April and got a EAD receipt of April 21 (WAC 03 15xxxxx). It was due to expire in June end.

Again INS is good at taking money but not approving 485. WHy should i have to go again for EAD, H1 renewal, FP reprinting probably etc. for a process when I am at the fag end.

Man this whole process sucks!

I don't know why these kind of wonder happens to me, I mailed my wife's EAD application on 1st April to local INS office at SFO (since her case is pending at SFO) and till date I have not received any thing. I checked with my bank, they have encased the money order on 10th April.

It has been more than two yrs when we filed 485

Reminds me of a saying in Hindi "Kahna Modna nahi, Daka torna nahi" which means I will never say no to you but I will also never do any work for you!!

It is good they have encashed the check. You can always get the WAC number from the cancelled check! What else do you need? Besides by all indication, EAD processing has zoomed so your wife should hopefully be receiving her EAD soon!

Though I am extremely pissed that she hasn't received her approval already. Horrible to wait after the interview for so long!
