EAD RD 11/18/2002 have not get it yet

i have applied for my EAD renwal on 11/18/2002 , and i have not goten it yet , my layer called vermont and he said they are doing a securrity check , i have no clue what is going on ,any ideas .

then i am afraid there will be many more security checks to follow.
