EAD question

My wife's EAD expires in feb 28 2003. SHe has been working with the same employer and will continue to work with the same employer for a loong time hopefully. my lawyer will be sending the renewal on Dec. 10,03 to the houston office and the processing times says it takes 90-120 days. Can she continue to work since the papers will be filed? or when the EAD expires she has to stop working and wait till she gets the renewal? we really depend on both incomes especially since we just bought a house and cannot afford it without her paychecks.

U are talking about Feb 28, 2004..right?

I think you are late if u are applying for EAD renewal on December 10th, 2003..But any way the earlier the better..

Your wife or you can not work without a valid EAD..You might try to get an interim EAD from your local INS office after completion of 90 days from RD of your EAD renewal application..
