EAD question

Hi,

I am a new user in this forum.

My wife's EAD is about to expire on Sep19th 2003. She already applied for the renewal on Jun4th. She did not receive the approval yet. The 90 day processint time ends @sept2nd. There is a 2 week gap to go and get a IEAD from the local INS office. She did get a receipt notice from BCIS for the EAD Renewal.

Please advice... Can she continue working????
If not, What should we do?

BTW: I talked to the local INS office, they said they can only issue the IEAD on or after Sept2nd only (Which is after 90 days).

Plzz respond.
 
She can work untill Sept 19th 2003 using her current EAD, if you guys do not receive the new EAD by Sept 2nd, I would suggest that you go to the local BCIS office and get I-EAD, that way she can continue working legally after Sept 19th.
 
then she cannot work after august 19th. Got to local office and request if they can issue iead or try another local office. She will have to take leave withut pay or can work and get paid later if her employer can do that.
