I had applied for my EAD in Aug 2000 at VSC.Nov 2000 they had sent receipt stating that my case has been transferred to L.A. INS office. meanwhile I had put the inquiry on the phone. No reply what so ever. Went in person today to check the status on it & to get Interim EAD,after waiting for almost 6/8 hrs in the line the lady told me that that they have not received anything from VSC yet.It is almost six monts now. she couldn\'t even issue interim EAD withiout original receipt.Any comments/suggestions on how to deal with such problem are highly apperisited.
