EAD Question

my wife got EAD card recently
and it says no finger print on it ,
do we have to schedule any finger print appointment for it.
also wat is procedire for applying SSN for her

I have no FP on my EAD either. It happens a lot when people's 1st EAD is approved before they have a chance to get fingerprinted. There's no problem. Your wife should get her ASP biometrics appointment soon. And she'll probably get her FP on her 2nd EAD (unless her I-485 is approved before her 1st EAD expires).

Even if you have given FP for the pending 485, it won't appear on the EAD.
EAD would continue to say no FP - they are not linked.

I think if you eFiled the EAD, you were asked to go do biometrics - in that case FP comes on the card - not sure if this is still the case.

In any case, it doesn't really matter as the EAD is valid whether or not it has the FP.
