Most ppl shared and prefered paper EAD filling for new/renew.
No need to FP while Paper EAD pettiton. they will just put 'Not Available'
its ur choice how u file. personal advise 'paper file EAD'
don't forget about new PHoto PP style not ADIT(double verify this req).
record ur time and share with us when u get ur EAD receipt+ EAD card, would be helpful for others who are planning to file
The paper version DOES require fingerprint. You have to get your own index finger print card and send it in with your application. E-EAD process eliminates the need to send the card with your application and requires you to go in to their office for a finger print. You are doing your finger print eitherway.

How come there is fingerprinting required for E-filing of EAD but not in paper filing.. ? Is there is reason ...or am I misreading it somehow..
I am filing a paper version..and just want to make sure ..
Ok I'm outdated....
I was talking on past experience when you had to send in the blue signature card with your index finger print on it...
On the page.. http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/i-765.htm
it says in red text that
The blue "Signature Card" mentioned in the form's instructions is no longer required.
