If one has his 485 filed and the company is shutting down. and siince he does not have the 180 days yet so he cannot get his AOS and port the 485 what happens I believe he can start a new LC with a new company if it is willing to do so .If the Spouse is using the EAD from the previous 485 filing. does it remain valid. Or will have to restart the whole process and wait till reaching the 485 state to file for a new EAD and the current one is canceled automatically ?
