I sent my I-485 and I-765 to the Missouri Service Center since July 12th, 2006. My Receipt date for both applications is July 19th, 2006. I did the fingers print on August 8th, 2006. But my EAD is still pending. On September 24th, 2006, I called USCIS customer service and spoke with someone who told me that I will receive my EAD within a month and she gave me a confirmation number. After a month and still did not receive the EAD, I call them back. The person I spoke with told that computer was down and that she has to transfer me to another person who will take care of me. When she transfers me, I waited for more than 2 hours and nobody picked up the phone. I also made 2 infopass appointments and met with 2 different immigration officers to inquire about my case. Both of them told me that my case is still pending and they did not have any more information for me and that they no longer deliver interim EAD. The second immigration officer I met with in Miami, sent an email inquiry to the Missouri Service Center. On Wednesday November 15th, I received a phone call form her telling me that she received a response to the inquiry she sent. In the response, the Missouri Service Center said that my case has been transfer to Washington, DC for review and that they could not give me any immigration benefit before the review is completed. Up to today I still have not receive my EAD.
I need your advices. Anyone been though the similar situation?
After reading this forum and learned about the expedite request, I about to fax an Expedite request to the MSC (NBC) tomorrow. Do you think that will help?
