EAD pending for 5 months ..!!! pls reply

All,

I've applied for I-130/I-485 and I-765 (Chicago lock box)on August 2005 and the receipt date was August 25th 2005. All applications are pending till today - no approvals or deny. I've got the iEAD from the local office, but it's valid only for 3 months.

Anybody with the same problem? How long I have to wait to get the EAD or approvals? Transferring from H1 (married to USC)

make INFOPASS appt!

You should make an INFOPASS appt as soon as possible!! at the USCIS local office they will renew your iEAD and most likely send you to get biometrics done right away.

DO IT, 90 days are WAY OVER!!

I applied for my initial EAD in April 05. Since it didn't come in the mail by the end of June, I made appt at the LO. They gave me a card with no problem. Then, as it supposed to be 6 month before expiration (they gave me mine for 8 months), I applied for renewal in October. Funny, both apps are still pending, even the first one. I wrote to MO office that I received it. LO wrote to MO that it was closed. And yet, it's still open. So now i am wondering when and if my new one will come in the mail or just go to LO again... Total mess in there.
