EAD or H1B?

I am going to change my job. I have EAD and AP. There are still some time left for my H1B(more than one year). I used AP last year.

The question is, can I choose H1B transfer? The new company agreed to do that for me, but since I used AP I don't know if I can do this according to the law.

Since the new company agreed to do that, why don’t you do that? What will you lose by doing so?
