EAD or H1

I am on 6 yr limit now,has 2 EAD until next May.

If i apply H1 then whether its get approved or not,i am legal
for some 255 days whereas EAD route is for only safe for 90
days and after that i have to worry about iEAD + all ?

Do you guys think this is a wise approach ?

I am under the impression that if EAD application pending past 90 days and current EAD is expired ,then we will have to go and get iEAD right ?

isn't that ture ? if not please let me know the procedure..
 
As long as you are under AOS you are OK and EAD is only for work. It does not give you permission to stay. So basically there will not be any 6yr bar if your 485 application is pending and since yoy have an EAD ,you can work. Where is the question of EAD or no EAD or H1 or No H1?
 
I am confused about ur Q. Though the 90 day thing u said is right, though there have been exceptions . and vipsha is also right.
