Hi,
I filed my EAD application based on pending asylum case. A week ago, I received a notice on REF. I've been IMing to mesbahul about this and my whole ordeal lately (hope you don't take offense to that)
My question is, have any of you been REF on EAD while your asylum case is pending? On REF, immigration service in California asked for Identity, and I submitted my expired copies of driver's license and Student OPT EAD. I filed my EAD app on the 151st day of the clock. Today is Day 178.
I've had check status on EAD online. At this moment, the ticker is at Request for Response Review, and it says it could take up to 60 days for decision. This whole process has taken the life out of me. With no saving, and living off friends has hit my motivation to lowest level.
Please advice.
