EAD not approved yet

EAD for Renewal(Me & Spouse): RD April 24th 2006

My spouse EAD was approved on June 26th 2006, but mine is not approved yet.

Is this normal, the last time we applied for EAD/AP both of us got it at the same time. I am concerned!!!

I know that after 90 days I can apply for Iterim through InfoPass, are there any tips/hidden info I need to know w.r.t to applying for interim EAD? (or getting infopass?)

My wife applied her EAD in September last year, yes, 11 months ago and has not received the card yet. In November, she received RFE and replied RFE one month later, but no decision yet. She called customer service several times and was promised USCIS would give her an explanation. Then waited some time and called again and was told the letter was returned by the post office. This is really weird. We haven't moved since two years ago.

I also renewed my EAD in January and not approved yet. USCIS is messing things up.
 
Which service center are you in? Has your 140 approved?
I read somewhere on this site, someone got stuck in applying EAD and AP due to their 140 and 485 hold by background check.
