It has been 85 days. EAD is not approved yet.
Who should I call/write to find out the status?

If not approved after 90 days, you may take your EAD receipt and go to local office (make an appoinment) to get temporary EAD. Read EAD Filing instruction, this should be covered there.

Obviously, You should to do this if you need EAD:
your old is EAD is about to expire and you do not have a valid WORK VISA to authorize your employment.
