Hi,
I sent in my EAD application by certified mail on 28th June and it reached them on July 1st. I think I may have goofed up and sent in a blank money order by mistake w/o writing pay to INS on it. My EAD expires on Nov 24 2004.
They havent sent me the receipt by now (of course the long weekend fell in b/w). My question is, how long does it take for me to get the receipt.
And, if I dont get the reciept next week it will mean that more than 2 weeks have passed since I filed for my EAD. So, that probably means that my receipt is delayed because the money order was blank.
So do I need to wait for word from them or can I just send in a fresh EAD application with a new money order once again?
Please let me know, I'm totally worried now.
Please help me out by providing me this info.
