EAD message - Is this common?

Hi Guys,

After EAD3 approval , the message is

' This case was approved on July 17 and we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready'

Is this a common/standard message ? If yes, do I expect another message change when they will mail the card?

I guess the next message will be

' bla bla bla... Your card is ready and we are about to mail it now' :)

and the next would be

'bla bla bla... Your card is being mailed at this moment :)

and the next would be

'bla bla bla... Did you recieve your card?' :)

I think its a standard message. I also got the same one. For me there were 3 messages as follows:

1) On June 18, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

2) This case has been approved. On June 22, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address.

3) On June 23, 2004, the card order was completed and we mailed the applicant's new card directly to him or her.
 
I can second what mig30 said. My experience was similar. You should receive your EAD card within a few days.
