EAD/Labor Question

Gurus,

I need your advice.

My labor and 140 are approved. Its been more than 6 months since my application for AOS. I am with the same consulting company(based in Atlanta) that applied for my labor/140/485. I am planning to switch to a different employer using AC21.

My labor certificate states that I will be working in the Atlanta metro area after my GC is approved. Does that mean that I have to work in the Atlanta metro after my GC approval even if I use AC21. I am currently working at a client in NJ and I have never worked in Atlanta.

Your inputs greatly appreciated.

After you are approved, you want to continue with the company for a while and not p-- them off. As long as your W2 will say atlanta, nobody will care or ever ask you where you were physically located.

Do I need to have Atlanta in my W2 even if I have used AC21. I thought once you use AC21, the location and salary constraints mentioned in your labor dont apply.

Please advise.
