EAD just approved - I140 still pending

Hi Guys,

Pleased to see my EAD approved... but I 140 is still pending. Here are the details:

I485/I140/EAD - Concurrent
VSC, EB2 (Masters)
RD: 11/01/02
ND: 11/26/02
FP: 01/25/03 (Scheduled)
EAD: 01/07/03

Keeping my fingers crossed for I 140 approval..!!

RFE for I-140 after layoff

Hi Everyone,
Has anybody know about this scenario. My I-140 is pending for 7 months, last month I was laid off. Now I got job. If RFE is issued, are there any chances of getting I-140 approved.

How did you get EAD approved before you get FP done. I remember that the EAD should have FP on it. Thanks.

Don't think so..!

hsteven29,
FP is a requirement for AOS, not for EAD. Remember ?, FPs used to be at the very end, just before AOS, when concurrent filing was not in effect. Lot of folks now get EAD much before FPs done. That was the case even before concurrent filing.

FP Scheduled

Hi hstevens29,

Not quite sure what the process is - but my FP is scheduled for next week. Even though my EAD got approved on 01/07, I have not received it yet. If I were to go by what you mentioned, then I think I would get my physical EAD card only after my FP is done.

Will keep everyone informed about the happenings.

I recvd the EAD card during the same week that I went for FP.
It seems there is space on the right of the card where FP can go, but mine just says Fingerprint not availaible in a little blue box, I assume they will issue without.
 
no FP notice at all

I have my I-140 sent on 06/21/2002. Still pending.
I received my EAD on 11/20/2002.
My I-485 is filed on Sept 26th, 2002. Still pending.

But, I have not received any FP information at all. Anybody knows why?
 
140 Pending!

If this makes you feel any better, my 140 is pending since May 29, 2002. No REF or any reply. I am in EB2-Master category.

EAD/AP approved on 12/3/02. FP done on 12/04/02. 485 epnding since 10/07/02. I had applied under the concurrent filing with 140 receipt. I hope this gets over soon.


I expect that this would get approved in next 4-8 weeks.:(

Received EAD cards

Hi Guys,

Pleased to receive my EAD cards come in mail today. For all of you whose I-765 has been approved recently, there seems to be a two-week lag...

Here are my details:
I140/485/765 - Concurrent
RD - 11/01/02
ND - 11/26/02
I 765 AD - 01/07/03
Finger prints done on 01/25/03
