EAD issue..

I'm currently on L1 work visa and got married to USC wife cple of mnths back. Now if i apply for I130/I485 with INS, can i still work on my L1 visa or i need to apply for EAD to work? Do i have to apply for EAD and be out of work untill EAD gets approved? I'm not interested in EAD right now as i don't want to leave my current employer (L1).

Please help...

Yes I guess so

Yes, I was on a h1 while my 485 was under process. Even if you get you EAD approved , your L1 still remains valid till the time it expires.
Talk to your lawyer as well on this .
