EAD: Is this correct information?

I read at http://www.immihelp.com/gc/aos/ead.html that if
after 90 days of filing for EAD extension if it is not approved it
is automatically extended for 240 days or till a decision about
adjustment is made whichever comes first.

Is this correct?

I believe past 90 days you are fine till decision taken. I mean if your EAD expires, then till a decision is taken you don\'t have to worry. I am not sure about automatic extension for 240 days.

ead expired 2/25, as per local ins they will not entertain till 90 d are up , according to local ins. as well as the immigration lawyer and employer\'s lawyer w/o ead on hand there is no leeway to work
