EAD in Boston

You do not need appointments to be able to get your EAD from Boston office. It is a same-day process at the Boston INS office, but be prepared to wait anywhere from 2-4 hours to actaully get the EAD. I believe they accept applications from 7am to 12 noon on business days.
I did not get my EAD from Boston - infact I am still waiting for it to arrive by mail from VSC. However, I did my Advance Parole from Boston.

If you are there at 7:00am, it should be done by 8:00am or sooner. To my experience it will not take more than 1 hour. They normally don\'t take the photos you get. They take it online. So don\'t waste on photos. Even if you need, there is photo studio inside INS in the same hall.

I just walked in to Baltomore office today to find out if I could get my EAD renewed there. The lady gave me a form and asked me to mail it to VSC. I had my advance parole done there (in Baltimore) before without any problems. It was a same day service. Did you guys try it for yourselves or you heard it from sombody else?

Go there a little earlier. Say arrive before 6:40 am will help you a lot
(1-2 hours difference if you just arrive at 7:00 am). Go to the side
door, not the front door. Since the INS locate at the back end of
the building. So even if you are, say #5 in the front door, there might
be 15 people in the back side door of the JFK building.
We get there at 6:40 in the morning, #3, they open at 7:00 am, we
get out at 7:50 am in the morning with EAD done there..
