EAD help

Need to file EAD renewal for my wife. I came here as F-1 and she's F-2. We filed 485 in January 2003. Currently I'm using my OPT-based EAD. She applied for a 485-based EAD last year and got it in July 2003. However, she never used it to work. The attoney did it last time and we want to do the renewal ourself.

So my questions are:
1. In I-765, item 14, "Manner of Last Entry", should I put "Student" or "F-2 Student" for her?
2. item 15, "Current Immigration Status", should I put the same thing as item 14?
3. item 16, what should I put in the three braces, (c)(0)(9) or (c)(9)()?

Gurus, please help!

You should have applied for EAD too and should be using your I485 based EAD. Do it now.
1.Yes
2. Your current status is I485 adjustee (parolee)
3. c09

About question2, I'm using an EAD based on my F-1 OPT. So I'm still F-1. She has a 485-based EAD but never used. So she's still F-2. Am I right?

Doesn't matter if u used any EAD or not once ur 485 is filed ur status becomes 485 Adjustee Even you are also 485 Adjustee.
If you write ur staus as F1 the that c09 in Item 16 will become INVALID and ur EAD will be REJECTED rightaway.

I meant you should have applied for EAD based on 485. You see, once I485 is filed F1 is a hot potato. you got to drop it. Immigrant intention wise F1 and 485 are conflicting.
Dont write f2. apply for EAD - based on I485 NOW!
