I am in a hurry regarding my work sit so starting a new thread.....sorry if this is an issue...
I am planning to change my job soon and am currently on an H1B valid till Jan 08 or till my job lasts. The new place is willing to sponsor my H1B but may not have the time to get all the paper work together.
1. Can I immediately join on an EAD (thus losing this H1B) and then they can file for an H1B and once its approved I can go back on an H1B...(its a non-profit UNIV program so no cap issues here)? Or is it not advisable to do that? In case I do go on an EAD then can I in the near future apply again for an H1B (I still have three years left after Jan 08) but still maintain the AOS application? With the dates Retrogressing faster and faster.....I think this going to be a longggg wait....
2. To file for EAD renewals...can we do it on our own via E-filing even though my entire application process is being done via a lawyer? I mean do I need to go to the lawyer everytime I need to get my renewals?
