Hi,
I'm currently on H1 and its valid till 7/25/2005 and I also have and EAD which is expiring on 6/29/05. I have never used my EAD yet for employment.
I applied for the renewal of EAD on 3/1/2005 and I haven't recieved it yet. I came to know that we have to take an appointment for the interim EAD instead of directly going to the local INS office.
I have few questions :
1. Is it still possible for me to go to the local INS office without an appointment for the EAD renewal or interim EAD ?
2. If my current EAD expires by the time I get an appointment but my H1 is still valid. Am I considered Out Of Status ?
Please help.
