EAD/ H1 Validity question

Hi all,

My lawyer sent my 485 application on July 27. I have a H1 until
Feb 2003. I will be going to India on vacation for a month starting
mid December. Meanwhile if & when I get an EAD, it would invalidate my
H1. Would I have immigration problems returning to the US at the port
of entry when I return in Jan 2002?

just getting EAD does not change your life..
ONLY if you use it your H1 will beinvalid..
so there wont be any problem when you re-enter..

Also make sure you carry your original I-485 receipt with u to avoid any problems.
