My story is I am in H1B status and HIB will expired in Feb of this year.I filed for Labour from my company who had my Hib but no response for last three yrs.And My dad is citizen of USA and he filed for me as a unmarried in 1994 when he had green card and when he become citizen he field for married daughter.
Now the problem last yr in 2005 i went to get advise from lawyer about my immgrant file.and he said we can repoen you old file and you can get GC soon.Based on old file that of 1994 i got EAD and even my GC interview .Based on EAD i become selfemployed and left my H1 company now when i went for my GC interview officer take all my papers even my I-94 but did not green card .The reason was my dad filed for unmarried file in 1994 and my marriage date shows 1993 because when i got married i did not inform my dad so he did not know that i got married.Now My EAD is geeting expire soon and i asked my lawyer to renew it but his concer is that may be my case get denied if i apply for renewal for EAD pls suggest what should i do thanks kubs
