I am filing the EAD renewal for my wife on my own (first time it was done by my corporate lawyer) and I had a few questions
1. It asks me which office was the earlier EAD applied. Can I find it out somehow based on the LIN number or something? I would think based on my location (Michigan), it would be Nebraska, is there any reason to think otherwise? or do I need to ask my lawyers?
Update: LIN -is Nebraska, I found it myself
2. The efile form asks for this additional information 'Please provide information concerning your eligibility status' after selecting the eligibility status. However, paper form seems to want to know only the eligibility status, does not ask for any additional information. If I decide to efile, what information should I give? (status is c(9) - Filed 485)
3. The efile form also asks this additional question for c(9) status whether it is family based or employment based. Since this is for my dependent wife, I would think I should choose family based.
Surprisingly paper form does not ask this question, any comments why?
4. Lastly, what would you guys recommend efile or paper?
Thanks
Siddharth
