EAD for wife

RD 5/15 ND 5/16

AVM, for my wife's EAD, says that RFE had been issued. I got mine approved 15 days back. Its for me to worder, what that RFE could be. Anybody has any idea ?

probably I-140 approval copy missing

My paralegal told me lately they have been receving lot of RFEs for missing I-140 approval copy. Apparently the IIOs misplace it and then issue a RFE. A guy named 'SSS' on the other forum got
EAD denial for same reason.
A co-worker of mine got a RFE for his Ap for same reason.
I too have got a RFE for my AP on 27th Aug 02 , but so far neither
me nor my paralegal has rec'd the RFE, so until we receive it I
don't know the reason for the RFE. But my speculation is the same and it could also for your wife's EAD RFE.
My RD if you remember is 1 day after yours.

for the reply. I am also expecting that it could be marriage certificate also. As somebody posted in this forum, I also reduced our marriage certificate from A5 to A4. They are issuing RFE saying that letters are too small to read. But it is not really, anyway let me see.

Thanks again. I do well remember you, you replied to one of my earlier postings. If TCS pulls everything together as it seems to be doing now, we may expect our FPs around January and approvals in May. That is being optimistic.

RFE

i had recived rfe when i reapplied for my 2nd ead asking for copy of birth certificate as ? the date did not match what they had on their record. it took almost 2 mo for them to issue ead from the time they asked for rfe and it was only effective from the date they issued it so tecnically there was a gap of 2 mo from expiry of the last one and the 2nd one was effective. for some reason they did not adjust the time retroactively . luckily the h1 was still valid
when you reapply you submit a copy of your ead and the previous notice, even then I got a rfe
