EAD for L-2

As I understand, the sponsoring company should be able to simultaneously apply L-1 and L-2 visas for the employee and spouse respectively.

The question is can they also apply for the L-2 ead at this point? In other words, is it possible for the spouse to to get the ead and then travel to the US?

Visa then EAD

I dont think you can apply for EAD before you get the visa. We were in the same situation some time back and my company said that she can get here EAD only after she gets here L2 approved.
