EAD for applicant and spouce

Hi,
My wife and myself on H1B visa now. My wife is applying for I-485 in CSC. Do we both get the EAD ? Because someone told me that, EAD won\'t be issued if you are on H1B visa. How much time it takes to get EAD in CSC right now?

Attorney has to apply for EAD for both of you.
Nowadays it is usaully taking around 90 to 100 days and some people got it in a month also.
You can get interim EAD from local INS office after 90 days are completed from your EAD Application Receipt Date(RD)

Is this date different than I485 RD. In other words, do you
get a seperate RD/ND for I485,EAD and AP??

I-485, EAD, and AP are three separate applications, and thus, there
are three wac numbers (and three receipt dates, notice dates) for
each.

Thanks for responding. But now I am more confused. Does that mean
that whenever someone posts their RD/ND, they always refer to their
I-485 application? I guess the RD/ND for AP and EAD is not very
relevant because by the time you get your RD/ND, you are ready
to recieve your EAD/AP approval. Is that correct?

Another question is: Does that mean that all the 3 RD/NDs will come
to the attorney at a different times.

Yes ciba is right....I have 6 sets of WAC numbers for 485,ap,ead for me and wife ...our alien numbers are one after the other but wac numbers are separated by few numbers here and there..

If you attorney sends I-485/AP/EAD together, all three receipts will
arrive on the same day. And yes, receipt notice or wac numbers
people posted refer to I-485, because that is THE most important
of all.

Thanks Ciba! In that case, I will wait for SIX RD/NDs (3 each
for myself and my wife).

Hopefully all of them will arrive on the same day.
