One more strange thing happend. Just wondering if any of you had similar experience.
I filed 2nd EAD renewal application to VSC on 01/14/2004. ND: 01/20/2004. The following is what I Just noticed from BCIS case status online site:
"On April 5, 2004, we transferred your I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION to an office in TEXAS SERVICE CENTER for processing. Our office in TEXAS SERVICE CENTER will send you a written decision as soon as processing
is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office. Please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 to receive information about local office processing times."
I called the customer service and was told it was "probably" to speed EAD processing. My current EAD card expires in two weeks, do you guys think I could still go to Boston to get iEAD even if my files are now thousands of miles away in Texas?
