EAD extension

My RD is 06/25 and ND is 08/17. RFE resp recd by INS on 03/27. I had called up VSC this morning and was told to wait for 2-4 weeks. But, today I got my EAD extension approved (This EAD is valid only from 08/23). Does this mean that my I-485 will not be approved until August? I am really worried. Could someone please let me know?

The RFE notice says that we can call back if no response is recd in 2 months. That\'s why I called up today. The IIO said that it should be pretty close, however she did say that it also depends on the work load of the particular officer that my case is assigned to (usual response).
