EAD extension Question

My EAD extension is approved, but lost in the mail. INS mailed on September 20 and I haven't recieved yet.

My Question is, do I need to physically have the EAD card to be on the Payroll ?

Pls let me know if anyone has any idea regarding this.

I think you can.

On my first EAD, I had used approval notice to be on payroll. Is it possible to get a duplicate copy of approval notice. Try calling IIO.
Unless EAD card is not lost in mail, I think you can use it. (If card is lost in mail, may need to apply again!!!). Dont know for extensions - how it works though.

Try to get an interim EAD based on the receipt.

Since the EAD is lost in mail, my attorney is doing a reorder of the EAD.

Reorder is same as applying the EAD all over again.

Also, I have been told by my Attorney that once we recieve the reciepts for the Reordered EAD, I should be fine from the payroll standpoint.
