EAD Expiring Question...!

Folks,

I have a question as to Extend the EAD as it is expiring on Oct31st 2002 and ahave a valid H1 till August 2003. I am still working with the Same company who has filed for my GC and it is still not Approved as of today......

I have Applied for my wife and I have not left the country since Applying for my I - 485.

My lawyer has adviced that it is not needed since i have not used the EAD or AP.

Let me know if it is OK.

I think that is ok, for working in U.S, you don't have to apply EAD if you have valid H1.

Prince - You are perfectly alright man. Since you did not use your EAD or AP and still you have you are continuing in your valid H1 status you need not have to renew your EAD. I am in the same situation as you are and this is what I got a confirmation from my legal advisor. Good luck Pal !!
